God offers authentic love. His devotion is the real deal. But He won't give you the genuine until you surrender the imitations. God is the creator. Satan is the imitator and duplicator. God is a jealous God. (Exodus 20:5)
If you are requesting of God through prayer for genuine things...maybe your prayers have been delayed because He is waiting to loose what is in His mighty hand to give you, for you to loose the imitations you hold in yours. Think about it. What are you holding?
Remember: God witholds what we desire in order to give us what we need.
